Abstract
Whole-tree chipping is the latest harvesting method which utilizes more fiber per acre than any other system. If a good delivery system is coupled with this field chipping process, then the problems associated at the mill may be diminished. Pipeline delivery provides the opportunity for field chips to be delivered economic ally, continuously, and in good shape. Before such a delivery plan is implemented, the theory and problems must be considered to ensure that the system is possible and not just a dream in a researcher's head.
