Deposit to UNB Scholar

Currently, the best way to get your work into UNB Scholar is to get in touch with UNB Libraries' Scholarly Communications Librarian, Mike Nason (506-452-6325). If you have a publication you know is open access – or, a publication whose publisher allows pre-print or post-print in a repository – please contact us to have your work added to UNB Scholar.

What can I put in UNB Scholar?

We're looking for any of the following sorts of content (with a strong preference for open access materials):

  • articles*, technical reports and white papers
  • books and book chapters
  • technical reports
  • conference Proceedings and Presentations*
  • graduate theses, dissertations, or reports
  • select undergraduate work
  • Other types of media and grey literature

*Content entering the repository will be checked for copyright and/or licensing clearance with the help of the UNB Libraries Copyright Officer. Any content without copyright clearance will exist in the repository as citations only. If you would like to submit content to UNB Scholar but are unsure of the policies of your publisher, you can look up journal policies using the database SHERPA/RoMEO.
