Scott, Steven A.2023-06-072023-06-071996https://unbscholar.lib.unb.ca/handle/1882/31926The purpose of this study was to investigate the freeze-thaw durability of concrete masonry units used in the construction of segmented retaining wall systems. Specimens from eight different companies were exposed to up to 500 freeze-thaw cycles according to ASTM Standard CI262-94. This report presents the results of these tests along with the factors that led to the premature deterioration of the units.
