T h i s r e p o r t w i l l give a background t o h y d r a u l ic t r a n s p o r t and why i t i s becoming more w i d e l y used today. I t w i l l review some of the problems t h a t engineers face when d e s i g n i n g such a system and p r e s e n t a s m a l l sample case p r o v i d e d by the Denison Potacan Potash Company.
