Hughes, Peter M.2023-06-072023-06-071989https://unbscholar.lib.unb.ca/handle/1882/36774The measurement of groundwater levels is a requirement for the effective management of our precious groundwater resources. They are used to determine the groundwater regime and aquife' characteristics. Traditionally groundwater levels have been measured by manual or mechanical methods, but the advent of electronics and computers have seen the development electronic "data loggers" for the storing of large quantities of data with minimal supervision. The various methods of determining groundwater levels have been classified and evaluated for use in hydrogeo1ogic and monitoring applications considering cost and selection criterion.electronicen-CAhttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_16ecAn evaluation of data acquisition systems for the measurement of groundwater levelssenior reportBray, D.D., BrayCivil Engineering
