This i s accomplished through the a n a l y s i s of four f a c t o r s . These factors are; the a v a i l a b l e resources i n the area, the competition, the s i z e of the job and the season of work. Trends for these factors have been i d e n t i f i e d and represented g r a p h i c a l l y. The factors are then ranked in importance in explaining the variance of the paving p r i c e s .
