Karst.), provenance trials currently being carried out in the Maritimes and an outline for a suggested future provenance trial. Fros.t and drought are the two factors which are likely to be · the rnos.t limiting to the growth of Norway spruce in the Maritimes, especially when planted on unsuitable sites or when an inappropriate provenance is used.
