Briand, Irene2023-06-072023-06-071984https://unbscholar.lib.unb.ca/handle/1882/36204This project is a study of a small mafic-ultramafic intrusion situated in Northumberland County, N.B. This body has been assigned an Early Devonian age and is intruded by granodiorite (also petrographically described) of a younger age. The gabbroic complex consists of what is proposed to be a differentiated- related rock series of peridotite, olivine gabbro and gabbro. A magmatic nickel-copper-iron sulphide assemglage is present. This appears to have crystallized from an immiscible sulphide liquid slightly after crystallization of the silicate•phases.iv, 52 pagesen-CAhttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_16ecStudy of a mafic layered intrusion of the Bathurst-Newcastle Area, N.B.
