These methods are working trestles and barging. Two working trestles designs and two barging methods are described. A cost analysis of these methods based on a specific bridge construction site in N.B. was discussed. The working trestles were determined to be the most economical alternative. A technical comparison of the working trestles and barging methods was discussed.
