Using municipal recreation departments who have experience working in sport partnerships, it was found that reputation management is at the core of partnership development and, conversely, partnership breakdown. Reputation management could be summarized into three components; contract management, relationship management, and evaluation, which play a pivotal role in how, when, and why partnerships are developed. The study suggests that even though municipalities may have all of the components of a partnership, this does not always indicate success.ix, 98electronicenhttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2Partnership.Recreation.Sports.Municipal government.Reputation--Management.Sport and recreation partnership: A municipal perspectivemaster reportEdwards, Jonathon(OCoLC)1417069043Kinesiology
