Fair and Dominguez (1991) explored the effects of cohort size on labour force participation in the United States and found that the relationship between cohort size and labour force participation is positive for men and negative for women. This report adopts a similar approach and uses long panel data set to examine the relationship between cohort size and labour force participation from 1983 to 2015 in Canada.
