Through the study of Chapelstone Developments Inc., a New Brunswick c o n s u l t i n g firm, the concept of an i n t e g r a t e d system l o g i c a l l y evolves from the t y p i c a l problems of information processing i n the consultant's o f f i c e . Observations aid i n the f o r m u l a t i o n of a set of ideal s o l u t i o n requirements, which in t u r n produces a l t e r n a t i v e s for the implementation of a computerised estimating system, in tandem with Computer Aided Design.
