This study determines the variation in s p e c i f ic hydrogeological parameters within the Carboniferous region of New Brunswick based on a v a i l a b l e well water information. The main parameters which are investigated are the depth to bedrock, the depth of well, yield of the well, specific capacity, transmissivity and s t o r a t i v i t y . The means and standard deviations of the parameters for a defined portion of the Carboniferous are compared to the means and standard deviations for subregions within the Carboniferous using the Student's t - t e s t . Three subregions e x i s t and they are based on reference maps which divide the entire province of New Brunswick.
