This project dealt with the implementation of an interactive system for the two-dimensional modelling of gravity data. A comparison was made between the subject program, MAGRAV2, and a non-interactive program for modelling gravity data, G2DHALFM. The programs under study were applied to the Pabineau granite in northern New Brunswick in order to investigate the lithology associated with the intrusion. It was concluded that the subject program, MAGRAV2, when operating in text mode, produced anomalies comparable to those produced by G2DHALFM.
