U.N.B. will soon be the home to Canada's second geotechnical centrifuge. The following paper gives a detailed design of the structural components of this centrifuge. Details of other centrifuges in use around the world are also discusseed with comparisons made to U.N.B.'s. It should prove to be a useful facility in geotechnical research performed at U.N.B.
