This report is the result of an investigation into the tlexural capacity ot truss plate timber connections for various depths of timber sections. It was determined that the moment capacity of the connection increased with an increasing depth of beam. It was also found that the connection experienced a tensile mode of failure rather than a bending mode. Alternate connector positions are recommended in order to better utilize the tensile capacity of the connectios. Also, shear testing is recommended.
