Abstract
A laboratory study of alkali-aggregate reactions is presented to deal with a known reactive aggregate supplied by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. The aggregate is Pittsburg Quarry aggregate and was subjected to the concrete prism expansion test. A study of early volume changes in concrete is also investigated. The report is the result of extensive testing using several different storage conditions in the concrete prism expansion test and two different methods of determining early volume changes.
