The occurrence of accidents in a high-hazard industry such as the forest industry are frequent and perhaps unavoidable. The rate of occurrence of these accidents is something that should be kept to a minimum. Any control measure that can be exercised that will result in the lowest possible rate, is well worth implementing. As it deals with the health and well-being of those individuals who are involved. In the case where accidents do occur, the victims have a right to the best possible medical attention that can be made available to them.
