Abstract

Labour productivity in a maintenance shop is influenced by many factors. These factors, however, can be grouped into two key areas. A mechanic's ability to perform is controlled by the design and by the management policies of the maintenance shop. Mechanics are controlled by the same effects although very different maintenance is performed. Four maintenance labour productivities were examined in this report and no significant difference was found in the productive work of the mechanics.
