All urban surface water management project s include a q u a n t i t a t i v e a n a l y s i s of watershed hydrology and h y d r a u l i c s under e x i s t i n g and p o t e n t i a l future c o n d i t i o n s . This report looks into the use of CARIS as a tool for stormwater management and also e v a l u a t e s four stormwater modelling programs. The four programs are ILLUDAS, SCS, STMSEWER, and HYMO. Each program was analyzed using the same drainage b a s i n and then comparing r e s u l t s . CARIS was used to map the b a s i n and compute subbasin areas. R e s u l t s of t h i s work were then used along with d e c i s i o n support software to choose the b e s t program.
