The feasibility of constructing a parking garage to solve the parking problem in the Head Hall area of U.N.6 is investigated. Cast-in-p1 ace concrete and precast double tee beam construction are investigated. Preliminary design and cost estimates indicate a cost of $4.4 million for a 500 car parking garage. This cost is considered prohibitive by the administration at this t i me « Ho wever > i f i n t h e fu t u re thi s pr op osed st r uc t ure becomes feasible it is recommended that the students of UNB design and build the garage within the constraints of the local c opstr li c t i o n t r a d e s .
