Various aspects of the drilling phase of the Fredericton Aquifer Project performed during the summer of 1988 by the New Brunswick Department of Municipal Affairs and Environment are presented. Geological and geotechnical information obtained during the project and from previous research concerning the aquifer are summarized. Hydrogeological parameters such as horizontal and vertical flow gradients, directions of flow, and sources of aquifer recharge were analysed using Saint John River and well water level data.
