The purpose of t h i s r e p o r t i s to analyze and compare the methods used to design t i l t - u p concrete nail panels and to generate a computer program to aid in the design process * The scope of t h i s r e p o r t is l i m i t e d to s i n g l e s t o r e y Nail panels. Procedures for the design of t i l t - u p concrete Nail panels are i d e n t i f i e d and reviewed. These methods are compared with the aid of example Nail panel designs and the best method Nas chosen. The chosen method is based on the National Bui I d i n g Cod* of Canada 1985 and a design procedure developed at the U n i v e r s i t y of B r i t i s h Columbia (Nathan and Me Her, 1980). The design c r i t e r i a is d i s c u s s e d and reviewed Nith r e s p e c t to computer design.
